Meet the Attorney
Shirin Chahal brings a creative and unconventional background to her legal practice. Born and raised in the deserts of Utah, she carries with her a desert spirit—independent, resilient, and resourceful—that shapes the way she approaches both life and the law.
Before becoming an attorney, Shirin worked in the music industry at a talent management agency, a booking agency, and a major music publishing company. She later moved to Colorado to attend the University of Colorado Law School, where she focused on intellectual property, technology, and privacy law. During law school, she served as an Articles Editor for the Colorado Technology Law Journal, and her student note on privacy in social networks was selected for publication.
Today, Shirin advises small businesses, entrepreneurs, and creative professionals on matters including business formation, contracts, intellectual property, data privacy, and regulatory compliance. She has a particular passion for copyright law and enjoys helping artists, designers, and other creators protect and grow their work.
